Micro sword looks more like actual grass than anything else submerged, with narrow flat blades in honest lawn-green. It spreads by runner at a measured pace and, unlike taller grasses, holds its height without mowing games.

Aquascaping use
Use it where the design calls for a domestic lawn rather than wild meadow, especially fronting classic community layouts. It frames sand paths and stone edges cleanly.

Planting
Plant small tufts densely in fine substrate; sparse planting stretches the fill time badly. Keep early tufts firmly seated until runners anchor them.
Fine nutrient substrate

Light & CO₂
Medium steady light keeps turf density; CO₂ roughly halves the establishment time. In dim tanks it thins rather than climbs.

Substrate & fertilization
Feed the roots with tabs across the lawn zone; the column matters less. Established turf coasts on modest upkeep.

Rarely required for height; thin patches that thatch over time. Repair holes by transplanting runner-connected tufts.
