Saved and compared plants
Saved plants and comparison selections are stored in your browser’s local storage. They remain on your device and are not transmitted to Verdant Aquarium. You can remove them using the site controls or by clearing site data in your browser.
Search and filters
Encyclopedia searches and filters run in your browser. Verdant Aquarium does not currently send those terms to an analytics or advertising service.
Images and hosting
Plant illustrations are hosted with Verdant Aquarium. Viewing the encyclopedia does not require image requests to third-party media hosts.
Changes to this notice
If analytics, newsletters, accounts, or other data-collecting features are introduced, this notice will be updated before those features are enabled. Last updated July 2026.
