Overview
Under suitable conditions its side branches create a triangular, fir-like pattern. The plant is forgiving, though its best form depends on clean flow and regular thinning.

Aquascaping use
Use restrained patches to imply age on driftwood or to soften stone transitions. Avoid coating every surface, which can flatten the composition.

Planting
Spread a very thin layer and secure with thread or small dots of aquarium-safe gel adhesive. Thick initial clumps often detach underneath.

Regular, modest water-column nutrition is sufficient. Gentle flow helps carry nutrients through dense mats.
